About the Practice

Pocatello Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Institute (POSI) is committed to providing excellent comprehensive orthopaedic care in a compassionate setting. POSI was founded in 1995 by three physicians who trained together in New York City. All three became fellowship trained in separate sub-specialties within orthopaedics. A desire to remain out West, and surgical expertise that complemented one another, helped form the group. Dr. Wathne has practiced in Pocatello, Idaho since 1995. He and his beautiful wife have four daughters and are quite active in their community.
